A lot of our customers use Copify as their only copywriting supplier. Some use it to support an internal team and others use it as a stopgap when they are in-between copywriters.
I think that they should all use us exclusively, all of the time. Well I would, wouldn’t I? Here are my arguments, so you can make your own mind up.
1. We don’t do contracts
One of the reasons we founded Copify was because we saw an online marketing agency go bust because it staffed up too quickly. When clients bailed they couldn’t pay the wage bill, which means that we got the boot. When you use Copify, you’re not committing to any contracts which means that you don’t put your business at risk.
2. Copywriters move around, a lot
Copywriters get itchy feet, they get bored of the same awkward clients, boring briefs and clueless account managers who commit them to ridiculous workloads. I know, because I’ve been there and I’ve had more copywriting jobs than I’ve had hot dinners.
When you hire a staff copywriter, you have to go through the hassle of job adverts and interviews, not to mention dealing with slimy recruitment consultants. You have to think about HR policy, office space and equipment. You have to pay them when they don’t come in because they are
What if it doesn’t work out? You can’t just get rid of them, there’s HR policy and employment law to follow. When they leave you for another agency, you have to do it all again. Why on earth would you bother with all that?!
3. We can provide a LOT of copy, quickly
In aftermath of Google Penguin, you need to get duplicate and poorly written copy re-written, sharpish. If you are looking after huge ecommerce sites, with thousands of descriptions, one writer, or even a team of 3 or 4 isn’t going to be able to cope.
Use Copify, we have 330 (and counting) copywriters who can get copy done for you in next to no time. We did half a million words last month, with an average turnaround from brief to draft of under 20 hours.
The case for the defence
But your writers don’t meet with our clients, they don’t understand them I hear you cry…
Simple – get a clearly defined style guide and tone of voice document locked down and let’s get cracking.
